Jared (Jaryk): The pistol and its holster add 1 setback die each (2 total) to perception checks to find them. I was gonna ask except I was rolling against Lonak’s Vigilance.

Galactic Master Andrew (GM): Oh, I’ve probably set this up wrong then.
Add 2 boost dice for the stats to this roll to make up for it.

Galactic Master Andrew (GM): Well I tried. Lonak has Jaryk pistol, but can’t fire it for some reason, and Jaryk retains his Fusion Cutter. Lonak doesn’t seem to think its a threat.

Jaryk Irys’sil giggles.

Jaryk Irys’sil: “Of course, I never expected to be safe from the Hutts. Didn’t you know that the infamous Karka Zikri’ska has the biggest bounty that the Hutts have every placed on his head?”
“But is all this really necessary? Mine was only a triple-cross, an un-crossing really, that saw me paid for services, eh? And what about you and your…”

Jaryk Irys’sil glances out of the corner of his eye, briefly, counting.

Jaryk Irys’sil: “…one sixth share? Is that really worth all this trouble? So, how much is MY bounty? I want to know how I measure up!”

HK-477 (Adam): Impatient observation: The hairy meatbag is going to talk a lot.

Jaryk Irys’sil points at HK-477.

Jaryk Irys’sil: “The droid speaks facts, as droids often do. All the way through an Imperial blockade — how you guys planning to get through that, by the way? — with me yapping all the time. Do you think it’s gonna be worth that risk? How much?”
Lonak: Shut it! You know as well I do that working for the Hutts is more about paying your debts then making a profit. You never really stop working for them either. I still have family on Nar Shaddaa and as much as I’ve enjoyed your company these last few months its either you or me.
Lonak looks around to the others.
Lonak: No witnesses.

Jaryk Irys’sil bursts out laughing.

Jaryk Irys’sil: “With no witnesses, who’s to say who captured me?! Hey, does that mean you’re gonna kill your helpers, too? Hey guys, GUYS, are you working for free, like Lonak here?”
Lonak: Who said anything about capturing you? I believe the request is simply for your thieving hands. It says nothing about the rest of you.
Hunter 3 aims his pistol at Jonas and pulls the trigger. Nothing happens. Rookie mistake, the safety is still on.

Galactic Master Andrew (GM): Hunter 2 I mean.
Lonak tries to look tough and backhands Jaryk. A stiff breeze is all Jaryk feels.
Hunter 1 doesn’t make the same mistake and fires at Kaash. His aim however is inexperienced and he simply grazes Kaash’s arm for 6 damage.

Jaryk Irys’sil turns his head with the blow. He’s quiet for a moment, but then the sound of his chuckling grows into a mighty guffaw.

Jaryk Irys’sil: “Just my HANDS and your WORD? Do I look like a human, that my hands would be differentiable from another? Seriously, are we even sure that you’ve got the right guy? And how much, did you say?”
Lonak’inek: You’re just not getting it. Your buddy Aarn sold you out. Zayce and I worked hard to get away from the Hutt life, but then Aarn calls and goes dragging us back in.

HK-477 (Adam): Sarcastic Request: Oh, pleeease don’t do anything that could hurt my comrade so badly he would have to stop talking.
Insulting Rejoinder: As for you, bounty hunter, let me guess, you didn’t choose the Hutt life—the Hutt life chose you?

Jaryk Irys’sil: “Arnie? I don’t know anybody named Arnie! I’m starting to worry for you, that you’ve got me confused for somebody else, and you’re gonna go through all the trouble of breaking through the Imperial blockade and presenting me to the Hutts only to gain their ire for nabbing the wrong Bothan and they kill you and your family on Nar Shaddaa anyhow!”
Zayce struggles to find his courage and places the muzzle of his pistol at the base of Grim’s skull. However Grim moves his head just as Zayce fires and elbows him in the “Ewoks” Zayce suffers 1 wound.

Galactic Master Andrew (GM): Jaryk’s turn.

Jaryk Irys’sil: “There’s gotta be some sort of mistake. I mean, just lookit me. GUYS, LOOKIT ME!”

Hunter 2 looks about himself and what’s happening to his comrades and decides that its in his best interest to fight. However the moments opportunity to strike has passed as he looked at his options.

HK-477 meets Hunter 2’s gaze. “Think carefully meatbag.”
Lonak’inek: “What are you waiting for?! Kill them!”
Lonak quickly moves back away from danger and fires at the lightsaber wielding maniac.
Lonak hits Mada for 6 damage, but trips as he’s firing and falls prone.
Hunter 1 is terrified by Kaash’s axe coming from his back and drops Kaash’s weapon and flees into the jungle.

After beening elbowed in the “Ewoks”, failing to climb the side of the hill, having his blaster pistol jam, having said pistol sliced in two, and finally having Grim firing warning shots that singed his beard, Zayce is overcome with mortal fear for his life and simply passes out.

Galactic Master Andrew (GM): How was that?
Near death Hunter 3 takes HK’s rifle and staggers to cover. Slamming himself against the tree he drops the rifle by accident and take a wild shot at HK with his pistol at medium range.

HK-477 walks to his rifle and picks it up, assuming the GM will let him know if he can’t do this for some reason. At (really) close range he levels the barrel at Hunter 3.

Did he have cover? I wasn’t sure if it counted since I moved close enough to have a straight shot, but that may not be how the rules work. I’ll roll again if you need me to.

Galactic Master Andrew (GM): I’d say he didn’t have cover from HK’s firing angle.
Not that it matters much. You rolled all the advantage in the world!
At close range HK put several holes in Hunter 3. The foolish bounty hunter did not survive the onslaught of energy bolts.
All of HK’s teammates see his deadly attack and are relieved that he is on their side. ALL PLAYERS COMPLETELY RECOVER ANY STRAIN THEY’VE SUFFERED.

HK-477: “Observation: That was rather satisfying. Any more people for me to eliminate, masters?”
Hunter 2 takes the fight off the axe wielding Klatooinian. He does 6 damage with his pistol and hobbles away.

Galactic Master Andrew (GM): Lonak strains himself to run over to his pistol and fires at Jaryk.

Jaryk Irys’sil uses his disguise kit to paint himself and his gear with camouflage. While doing so, he turns his back on Hunter 2 and gazes into the jungle, looking for paths and threats.

Hmm. So Jaryk fails to notice anything new, however for the advantage I’ll let you know that once Zayce passes a resilience check he’ll wake up to fight again unless you guys do something about it.

Jaryk fades completely into the jungle and successfully lays a hidden trail for the others to follow completely in stealth if they are standing within short range of Jaryk.

Jared (Jaryk): That’s cool. Does it last just for this round or what?

Galactic Master Andrew (GM): It lasts until you are discovered. That would mean a noisy combat check against discovered enemies, or a successful perception check by hidden enemies at medium range. Opposed by Jaryk’s stealth of course.
Players within the green circle benefit from Jaryk’s very successful stealth check. If they move out of the circle or Jaryk moves away the PC will have to make their own stealth check to remain hidden.
Players can still attack Hunter 2 or Zayce without fear of discovery as Jaryk is scouting ahead at the moment.

Jaryk quickly recognizes that odd computer is definitely still sending and receiving communications but all the codes are Imperial in origin. Clearly the computer is used to convey information to large Imperial Troop camps in the Yavin jungles. This terminal appears to serve as a signal amplifier and points to the fact that there must be a command camp somewhere near by.

Jaryk Irys’sil realizes the danger of what he’s seen and, trusting the others to take care of any remaining threats, hurries to plug his data breaker into the terminal to gain more information about the troop camps and their communications.

Kaash opens a crate labeled “contraband” and lets out a yell of excitement. Instead is an FC1 Flechette Launcher. A deadly weapon if ever there was one. Upon close inspection Kaash finds that the previous owner had made some unusual modifications. It was clear that launcher couldn’t be reloaded in the field nor would it accept the Anti-vehicle tubes anymore. It also has a thin red pin stripe running down the length of the barrel. Still a formidable weapon despite its short comings.

Jaryk finds that the sergeant’s knife is indeed of Superior Quality. It also recently had a Gene Lock with a self destruct feature added but one that hadn’t been coded to anyone yet. Which could easily be done by its new owner. The only thing that seems to be missing is the sheath it was carried in, but no matter.
